Web Standards Project: CSS: Bugs in MacIE: Strange indents around floats
Let's say we were displaying a board game that allowed the players to
take over the world, one country at a time (the mechanism is irrelevant).
We would want to show these cards to the user in the most efficient
way, without knowing how wide the user's browser window was. So we
could have each card in a floating DIV, and then have all
the DIVs float left, so that they would fill the width of
their parent element, and then carry over to the next line.
This should produce a nice layout. However, MacIE, for some reason,
indents the first line of these floats so that they are not lined
up correctly. This is an annoying error, and we hope it will be fixed.
